In addition, ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Career Services staff are available by appointment for individual one-on-one appointments for job search assistance (job search advice, resume critique, interview preparation etc.).  are short online videos to assist ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø students with their job search and networking skills. All videos are close-captioned, have transcripts included, are less than 3 minutes long, and can be viewed multiple times. Spend a few minutes daily to improve interviewing skills, resume writing, networking, salary negotiations, and social media for you job search.

Find a Mentor

As an LW Tech student, you can benefit from a free 1-to-1 online mentorship with a volunteer mentor through , to prepare you for your first professional career.

During this 12-week mentorship, you will learn to:

  • Write a convincing Resume/CV and prepare for job interviews
  • Use AI to facilitate your job search and enrich your professional career
  • Create a career plan and set achievable goals
  • Establish a professional network using LinkedIn

On-Campus Student Jobs

Looking to earn money while you study? Working on campus is a great way to gain experience and build your resume. Check out the different types of student jobs below and how to apply for one using our job board, Hire Lions powered by Handshake.

  • ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø students must be awarded work-study funding through the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Financial Aid office.  To see if you're eligible, contact the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Financial Aid office.
  • Students must maintain a 2.0 overall grade point average (GPA) to be eligible.

  • No financial aid?  No problem!  As long as you're enrolled into at least 6 credits at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, you can apply for a Student Employment job. 
  • International students may apply too!
  • Students must maintain a 2.0 overall grade point average (GPA) to be eligible.

  • Sign into your account.
  • Go to the "Jobs" tab, select "All Filters", and "On-Campus" under Job Type.  TIP:  Use keywords like "WS" or "SE" to filter for specific on-campus jobs.
  • Send your resume and cover letter to main hiring contact listed in the job description of on-campus job.
