Assessment Center
The Assessment Center at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø prepares students for today's careers and tomorrow's opportunities by providing quality testing and assessment services to our students, faculty, staff and community.
Services Available
The Assessment Center provides many types of testing and assessments. Some of the main types of testing we offer is Placement Testing, TEAS Testing, and PearsonVue tests.
There are many ways to assess your starting Math and English levels at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø. After you have been , you can determine which placement option is right for you.
- Access the in Canvas using your ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø credentials
- Click "Enroll in Course".
- Click "Go to Course".
- Follow the prompts to find the placement assessments that are appropriate for you.
If you are directed to take the Guided Self-Placement Assessments, you can do with either online in Canvas or in-person. For in-person placement, visit the Assessment Center (West Building, W204) with a valid photo ID during our drop-in hours:

The ATI TEAS test is available to take in-person and remotely. Please register to take your TEAS test through ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø by submitting the .
PearsonVUE is back up and running! We are testing in-person on Tuesdays each week! More details will be offered on the , where you can register for a test by choosing "³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø" as your test center.
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø provides on-site protoring for students at other institutions who require a proctor. Proctored tests cost $30 and can be scheduled through the Assessment Center. Please email Assessment@³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø.edu to schedule your proctored exam.

Before You Test
The following expectations apply to all tests:
- Current government-issued photo ID is required for all testing, including community members.
- ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø students must provide their ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Student ID Number prior to testing.
- If you arrive late for your test, you will need to reschedule.
- Please make arrangements for childcare, as children are not allowed in the Assessment Center.
- Food or beverages are not allowed in the Assessment Center.
- All personal belongings need to be stored in lockers just outside the Assessment Center.
- Phones, smartwatches, and other personal electronic devices must be stored in lockers just outside the Assessment Center.
- Use of any generative AI tools during tests or assessments is strictly forbidden.
- No hats or headphones may be worn in the Assessment Center.
Testing for Students with Disabilities
The Assessment Center at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø offers accommodated testing for students with disabilities.
Accommodated Testing Scheduling
If you would like to request for disability accommodations for testing please contact the Disabilities Support Services office. The required lead time for requests to be processed varies depending on the type of test.
- Guided Self Placement & TEAS: 1-2 weeks in advance of planned test date
- CLEP: 2-4 weeks in advance of planned test date
After your accommodations are approved, you will need to contact the Assessment Center to make atesting appointment. Accommodated testing appointments are usually offered on the first Friday of each month. Depending on the type of accommodations needed, an appointment may be necessary for the Guided Self Placement test. If so, a DSS coordinator will arrange this with the Assessment Center.
