Your Math Education Pathway

Explore ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø’s Math Education program, designed to meet the minimum general education requirements to prepare you for teacher certification in secondary math at Central Washington University (CWU), Eastern Washington (EWU), Western Washington University (WWU), and Washington State University (WSU). This agreement meets all the requirements of Washington’s Direct Transfer Agreement.

You’ll benefit from small class settings, ensuring personalized attention and hands-on training for an enriched learning experience.

Through your program, you’ll learn workplace skills that include Communication, Critical Thinking, Global and Cultural Awareness, Teamwork, and Technical and Information Literacy, and you’ll be prepared to transfer to your teacher certification in secondary math program.

Additional Program Information

³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø does not offer every course each quarter. It is the student's responsibility to consult the Class Schedule and work out an individual schedule with an advisor. Any developmental coursework you might be required to complete may increase the program length.

This program of study leads to an industry or specific employers that may require a full or partial background check as well as a drug test before you start the job. We are proud of the many pathway options our students have to complete an Applied Bachelor’s degree, at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, and at in-state universities and colleges. All degrees, whether DTA/MRP, AAS-T or AAS, can fulfill transfer requirements at multiple institutions thanks to the articulation (transfer) agreements between ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø and the transfer college. An applied bachelor's degree can improve your chances in the job market and help you make more money.
