What are Global Accessibility Awareness Days at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø?
2024 marks the 13th anniversary of , and ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø's fourth year participating! The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking, and learning about digital access and inclusion, and the more than One Billion people with disabilities/impairments. Here at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, we took it one step further by commemorating GAAD as a week-long event!
What is Digital Accessibility?
Every user deserves a first-rate digital experience whether it is on the web or their electronic device. Someone with a disability must be able to experience web-based services, content and other digital products with the same successful outcome as those without disabilities. This awareness and commitment to inclusion is the goal of GAAD, a global event that shines a light on digital access and inclusion for people with disabilities.
GAAD Week at ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø! May 13-16, 2024
³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø offers a week-long celebration filled with micro-workshops, videos, challenges, games, and other activities related to learning about digital accessibility. All events are open to the ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø Community.
