Longer Bio if able to use: Before coming to ³Ô¹ÏºÚÁÏÍø, Kimberly was at Seattle University for two years completing her MEd in Student Development Administration and working at Wellness and Health Promotion focusing on mental health, peer health education, healthy relationships, and more. During this time, she also completed internships at Cascadia College’s academic advising office, Bellevue College’s Computer Science Department, and UW’s International Student Services. Before graduate school, Kimberly worked for four years as the Co-Manager and Advisor for the School of Public Health at University of California Berkeley. It was there that she developed her passion for equitable opportunity and cemented on her pursuit of supporting STEM students while encouraging arts exploration. These interests also stemmed from her time serving as an AmeriCorps CSU STEM VISTA at San Jose State and her experiences as a student at Humboldt State/Cal Poly Humboldt where she earned her Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in science and elementary education as well as a minor in Interdisciplinary Dance. Born and raised in the east Bay of California, Kimberly is forever a west coast woman who for over a decade dreamed of moving to the cold, rainy PNW. That dream now a reality, she is thrilled to now live in Kirkland with her husband and cat, thoroughly enjoying every cloudy day that comes. She loves nature, gardening, hiking, and baking. In her spare time, she often does crafts, talks with friends, mentors a local FIRST robotics team, watches anime/dramas, runs, and plays with her cat. She loves attending local festivals and eateries as well.
